Couple Pursues Education at NOUN

Mr. Demian Orukuna and his wife, Mrs. Janet Orukuna, are pursuing their Bachelor of Science degrees in Public Administration at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), demonstrating that higher education can be a family endeavor. As they navigate their academic journey, they are not only managing their studies but also balancing their family and work commitments.

Flexibility of NOUN

For Mr. Orukuna, a businessman and entrepreneur, selecting NOUN was an easy decision. He required a program that would accommodate his busy schedule without affecting his business operations. "There are times when we are both exhausted from work, yet we still have to sit down and study," Mr. Orukuna admitted. They maintain a friendly academic rivalry, comparing results and encouraging one another to excel. "My husband says I treat NOUN deadlines like emergencies," Mrs. Orukuna joked. "But someone has to keep us on schedule!"
